Element Winery 2015 Blaufränkisch

This is first release of the style of wine where Christopher believes he is hitting his stride. There is more color intensity here and less time in neutral barrel for ageing. Lemberger can be produced with a lot of extraction and sweetness, and the alcohol that comes with that, but it can also be made with more structure and minerality if the canopy is kept in control to limit photosynthesis and sugar production.
