Dr. Heger 2013 Ihringer Winklerberg Spätburgunder Erste Lage

This is the newest addition to the Spätburgunder lineup and we are thrilled to introduce this wine to the US. It seamlessly bridges the Tuniberg and the Winklerberg GG in its flavor, complexity and structure. This pinot was fermented in stainless steel after which it was racked by way of gravity into neutral barriques, 50% of which were new. Ripe raspberry and bing cherry dictate the mid-palate and the tannins are subtly integrated.
