Ashley Brandt

Ashley is a Midwesterner born with a New Yorker’s heart.  She thrives off of adventure and excitement and is constantly seeking new opportunities to learn.


Ashley’s past experience includes brand strategy for Bacardi, event production for the New York Times Food Festival as well as restaurant management in New York.


Ashley’s journey with wine started by learning ad hoc in various service roles. She was inspired to dive deeper when she started hearing the stories of winemakers who were honoring age old traditions or choosing to transform familial operations. She received a level of her sommelier certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2018 and has continued to hone her knowledge through the development and curation of wine programs in Brooklyn restaurants.


A lifelong student, Ashley is thrilled to join the team at Schatzi to continue to develop her tasting skills as well as share the stories of growers and winemakers, both local and global.
