Element Winery 2013 Cabernet Franc

This is the “biggest” wine of the range in terms of body, but it is deftly balanced and elegant. It was fermented and aged for 36 months in neutral French puncheons which subdued the variety a bit; however, there remains a pure varietal signature. The palate is juicy—and a touch leafy—with some firmer tannins, and it is structured (even mineral), and it develops with a silky and firm length.
