Domaine Ruet

Beaujolais | Cercié

Domaine Ruet has been making wine at the foot of Mont Brouilly in Cercié-en-Beaujolais since 1926. Now in its fourth generation under Katy and David Duthel, the 20-hectare estate spans south-facing slopes of granite, schist, and shallow stony soils. They produce parcellaire wines from five crus (Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Morgon, Chiroubles, and Régnié) using organic practices, each vinified separately with indigenous yeasts to express its distinct terroir. Domaine Ruet holds fast to the tradition of semi-carbonic maceration, indigenous yeasts, and has harvested their vineyards by hand since the beginning.

Domaine Ruet 2015 Régnié "Les Bois"

Régnié is the first site from Domaine Ruet to be harvested and as such, it is the lightest and juiciest of the range, redolent with raspberries, red currants and black cherries. Average vine age is 20-60 years!
