Frischengruber 2018 Kirnberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd
The Kirnberg is from a higher plateau of urgestein/gneiss subsoil with a loess and sand topsoil which gives more powerful grüner veltliner. Georg spontaneously ferments this in equal parts stainless steel and neutral oak and the wine spends an additional 6-8 months on its lees, depending on the vintage, in oak and stainless.
