Element Winery 2015 F.L.X. Cuvée

Here is the bread & butter wine for Element and it overdelivers for its price. This is a blend of red wines that don’t make the cut for the single-variety bottlings: it's mostly cabernet franc and pinot noir with a little syrah, merlot, and blaufränkisch. It’s full of red berry and spice with a juicy palate that is grapey and mouth-watering. Its structure is light-bodied, but it’s not “light” on flavor or length.
