For the Dr. Heger Estate's VDP Ortswein, the grapes come solely from Ihringen and were cultivated in different vineyards with the volcanic rock that Kaiserstuhl is known for. The traditional mash fermentation, in combination with the maturation in wooden barrels, ensures a full-bodied and long-lasting Pinot Noir.
