Element Winery 2019 Riesling

If I were to try and link Finger Lakes riesling to an old-world corollary, I would look to Alsace and not Austria. Certainly not Germany, though many producers in the region seem to want to emulate a German style with a touch of residual sugar. Christopher’s riesling is structured on the palate with more acidity than expected, given the broadness of the aromas and flavors and a slight waxiness.
