Eudes 2017 "Milleottocentoquaranta" Etna Rosso DOC
The Eudes rosso “Milleottocentoquaranta” is an impressive expression of terroir, composed of 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio from 120-130 year old vines grown on Monte Gorna’s sandy volcanic soils at approximately 750 meters above sea level. The wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation and malolactic in tank for 6 months before being racked for an additional 6 months in neutral oak barrels. Mille Ottocento Quaranta translates to 1840.
