Yann Alexandre Grande Réserve 1er Cru (2015 Base)
This cuvée is assembled from 4 select parcels in the 1er Cru villages of Coulommes-la-Montagne, Villedommange and Vrigny. The terroir imprint here is more calcareous than the Brut Noir which includes terroirs with more sand. Composed of 45% pinot noir, 45% chardonnay and 10% pinot meunier, the wine is fermented in 80% stainless and 20% neutral oak. After 3-m months of elevage the vintage wine is blended with 40% reserve wine and aged en tirage for 7 years.
