Dr. Heger 2015 Ihringer Winklerberg Weissburgunder Erste Lage
This comes from the original site of Vorderer Winklerberg before it was enlarged (to nearly three times the size) due to the introduction of the 1971 Wine Law. This is pure volcanic soil with eroded deposits, topped with loess. It is fermented in large, neutral oak casks, throws melon and strawberry aromas and has a long, mineral finish.
