von Hövel 2017 Hütte Riesling Spätlese “Monopol Lage”
The Hütte Spätlese is a wonderfully classic Saar expression each vintage, think pink grapefruit and sweet herbs, along with the darker, more savory notes that are typically Hütte. As with all wines Max ferments the spätlese spontaneously. For the 2017 fermentation and aging took place in 80% stainless steel and 20% neutral barrique.
