J. Vignier 2015 "Les Abbesses" Blanc de Blancs Brut
Pure Chardonnay, from a single Sézannais plot in the town of Vindey, a thousand-year-old wine village with the Latin etymological origin of "vinum dei", or "god wine". A unique site, grown on alluvium soil over deep chalk, this vineyard produces a self-possessed and deep champagne, marked by delicate aromas of fruits and wild flowers. 2015 marks the first vintage produced for this champagne.
