J. Vignier 2008 "Deux Terres" Champagne Brut
This is a true vintage wine from Nathalie, from the great 2008 vintage, and a blend of chardonnay from her main holdings. It comes from 50-60 year old vines in both “Le Bateau” in Cramant and from the chalk Sézanne parcel "Les Bercottes" in Barbonne-Fayel. These vines in the Sézanne were planted selection massale from cuttings in her oldest parcels in Cramant. The wine is vinified and aged in stainless steel until bottled in May following harvest where it spends a minimum of 8 years en tirage. Current availability has spent 10 years en tirage.
