This Auslese* comes to us direct from von Hövel’s cellars. An impecabbly stored and matured riesling from a vintage known for quality German wines, especially in the higher prädikat range. The deft and classic touch on this Auslese*, made by Max’s father, will read much drier than most may expect from an Auslese and with a delicate balance of fruit and acid that have matured slowly for just the right amount of time. This is an incredible value given the quality and rarity of this wine.
